I’m really happy to share that I’ve been selected as one of the Safe in Our World Ambassadors for 2026. Being able to collaborate with such an important non-profit organization means a lot to me.
Safe in Our World focuses on mental health awareness within the video game industry — a topic that, unfortunately, still doesn’t get the attention it deserves. Mental health is often misunderstood, and many people still associate it with stigma or extreme stereotypes. In reality, mental health affects everyone, especially in fast-paced, creative, and high-pressure industries like games.
The organization was founded in England, and I first learned about it through my great friend Leo Zullo, one of the founders of Wired Productions and also one of the people behind Safe in Our World. We reconnected through my podcast, Mega Busters, and during one of our conversations he told me more about the incredible work the organization has been doing. That conversation really stuck with me.
Alongside my volunteer work with AbleGamers Brasil, being part of Safe in Our World allows me to continue supporting causes I deeply believe in: accessibility, inclusion, and mental wellbeing in gaming communities.
I’m a little late with this announcement as the ambassadors were officially revealed at the end of 2025, and the work started in 2026. Since then, we’ve already kicked things off with training sessions, a dedicated Discord community, and a whole universe of initiatives alongside truly amazing people from around the world.
If you’d like to learn more about Safe in Our World or support their mission, you can check out their website https://safeinourworld.org/. There’s also the Safe in Our World Charity Bundle 2026, featuring 22 PC/Steam games on Fanatical (if still available), or you can contribute directly through a donation.
